8 oz rice milk
1 T hemp seeds
1 T brown rice syrup
large handful frozen peaches and strawberries
1 individual container strawberry soy yogurt
So Saturday night I stepped on a random fish hook. yep...stepped on it...it was stuck in my foot...it was not coming out. Picture me lying on my side on the floor...phil with his toolbag and a pair of pliers...i'm sweating...i'm shaking...this thing is not moving. elias is in bed with a fever...i have to get up, hobble to the car and drive myself to the ER. My sweet, sweet friend Lori met me there and held me as I stifled (though not well) a muffled scream as the doctor numbed my foot and proceeded to give me a play by play as he worked the fish hook out. An x-ray, tetanus shot and 2 hrs later I hobble back to my car and drive home. it's been a crazy, crazy few days.
So anyway back to the smoothie...I am on antibiotics and wanted to get some probiotics into my system. So i decided to make a cold drink with them!
